The main goal

Hi there!

We are a group of people who have a very important task to do :)

We are going to plan, design and finally construct:

the greatest potato monument in the world!

And you can be part of this venture!

We don't really know yet how exactly the monument will look like, but it was supposed to insert something here. Oh and by the way... Share this potato ;)

This project, which is extremely important for the whole of man kind, can be fully realized only with your help!

Secondary goals may appear from your suggestions during the project... We are ready for interesting and crazy ideas.

Our motives

At the beginning we have planned to build this monument only to honor the local farmers who represent a significant and important part of our community.

However over time, we decided to do this project also to express ourselves artistically and give our neighborhood a new element of art.

Such uncommon and funny construction will surely also be an additional tourist attraction in our region...

Whether you are traveling around the area wouldn't you like to visit such a monument? ;)

Location of the monument

We are currently considering setting up a monument in a private area on public view, but we do not exclude locating it on community land in the agricultural region of Poland.

And maybe it will be a whole series of identical monuments scattered throughout the world that make up the global art installation. Who knows... when the project will roll ;)

Regardless of where the monument itself will be placed, we plan to also appropriately adapt the area around it.

Materials

We got an important question: What will this monument be made out of? Actual potatoes? Cement? Plaster? Bronze? Marble?

At the moment we do not know from what material the monument will rise.

Although the use of actual potatoes seems like a tempting idea ;)
 
We are more inclined towards plastic and durable materials, but much will depend on what funds we will be able to collect, that's why we count on your help.
